Hopefully. Our previous host, which we shall not name, suffered a rather inconvenient error with another customer improperly installing their SSL, or worse, having the hosting provider do it for them which they have to do manually. The result was any website on the same server without an SSL automatically tried to pull that one, got a huge error and ended up being redirected to the other customer’s website. This meant that even though visitors could see plasticdungeon.com if they ensured they were visiting http:// instead of https://, we couldn’t get access to the admin login at all, because the host’s servers someone got configured to FORCE a https:// on any page with a login prompt.
Well, we’re not with them anymore and wouldn’t you know the site seems to work just fine now! What’s more, our new host costs less, has a support team that actually supports instead of tries to sell me something, and also offers a host (lol, puns) of handy features, like including an SSL and e-commerce features. So hopefully we’ll be able to start selling directly from here in the near future.
Yayz!
